YAY TO ME.

at this very second of this very minute of this very hour, i'm perched atop some reaaally high stool in binajoindra's shop aka asylum @ ann siang tapping away at her laptop - friendster/blog-surfing and the like, and bingeing on curryflavouredtwisties, the teeny tiny oldschoolbiscuit with pink/green/white/yellow hardened sugar on top (i'm sure you know what i'm talking about, EVERYBODY ate this in primary school) and cola.

i've got nothing remotely intelligent to say, with the exception of TOPSHOP IS HAVING ITS MID SEASON SALE!!!!! i'm using every ounce of my willpower (whatever little i have left - this is a recent occurence/______(fill in the blank) - only since i started working) to pry myself away from frantically shuffling through the racks and buying everything. i've got my beady little eyes fixated on

1. this absolutely adorable khaki jumpsuit with the cutest sweetheart neckline (prepping myself for the inevitable/unavoidable/undeniable zookeeper-references/comparisons) STATUS-> BOUGHT

2. a pair of spiffy white linen bermudas (for the stiflingly hot summer days to come) STATUS-> RESERVED LINEN PANTS, MORE VALUE FOR $

3. an aqua top with oversized button and cutout detail at back (ventilation-guaranteed!) STATUS-> NO GO

4. a pair of high-waisted double-row buttoned supersexy shorts found in black/red/white/grey (i already have it in black, considering white/grey) STATUS-> WHY BUY ANOTHER PAIR?
