Four people you will meet in life
Life is the process of finding love; every person will need to find four people in their life.
First person is you,
Second person is the one you love most,
Third person is the one who loves you most,
And the fourth is the one you spend the rest of your life with.
In life, firstly you will meet with the one you love most, and learn how love feels. Because you know how love feels, so you can find the person who loves you most. When you have experienced the feeling of loving others and being loved, you will then know what it is you need most. Then you will find the person who is most suitable for you, to be able to spend the rest of your life with.
Sadly, in real life, these three people are usually not the same person.
The one you love most doesn't love you.
The one, who loves you most, is never the one you love most.
And the one you spend your life with, is never the one you love most or the one who loves you most. He is just the person who happens to be at the right place at the right time.
in all honesty, this is probably the most depressing email i have ever received in my entire life. after reading this, i wondered,"what's the point in believing?" i feel silly believing in 'the one', especially in this time and age- the one person who was made for you, meant for you, who will spend his entire life searching for you.
she said this to me when i questioned the reality of ever finding "the one", "just hold onto the hope that you'll find him soon, because if you lose hope and give up searching for him, your other half will never find anyone better than you. you were made for him and he was made for you. other than you, there is no one."-- adapted from angel.
we.will.fast: do u noe y i am blind ?

we.will.fast: coz i aint interested in anyone.. i aint in the mood to try to look out for potential.. it will just attract me just like tt..
we.will.fast: for u..
we.will.fast: u keep looking around for a potential.. u observe u look u see
we.will.fast: u notice tt
we.will.fast: u notice this
we.will.fast: hoping for someone who will notice u
in the past few years, my family members [specifically iris a.w.de silva and carolina c.berondo] have been laying on the pressure for me to find a boyfriend. they question endlessly and fruitlessly,"why don't you have a boyfriend?" offering 'words of wisdom' like "if you keep on being so picky, you'll never find a boyfriend", "give the poor guy a chance", "you'll never know until you try", "it doesn't have to be serious, just something for fun."
words cannot explain how i feel,
screaming can.
recently i read an article in the straits times- some people dedicate their lives to finding 'the one'. sadistically enough, they end up in their 40s-50s, alone and lonely, at an age that should be spent enjoying the company of family and friends. instead, to curb their loneliness, they resort to paying for sex with strangers in a foreign land. sad, isn't it?
my heart flipped when i read the article.
one of the men featured said,"people say that love will come to you, if you just wait. i've waited all my life but i've finally come to terms with the fact that i'll end up old and alone"
i guess the option of being alone forever never occurred to me. i was/am still stuck on the notion that everyone ends up with someone. it never hit me that some people just don't find THE ONE.
some people say that you can't sit back and wait for love to fall into your lap, you have to go out and DO something about it.
others say,"don't find love, let love find you. that's why it's called falling in love because you don't force yourself to fall, you just fall."
maybe wong kar wai has the right idea about love, 2046.
maybe we fall in love once, and once only. with one person; everyone else after that is just a replacement. in the movie, everyone was using someone as a replacement for someone else. they were all not in love with the one they were with, only reminiscing about the one they could not have.
"Baby, what can I do? I've been out searching for you. I've got a feeling all I need is a love that's true. "
