victoria's secret**

dinner was in short, thoroughly enjoyable; delicious food. fantastic company. amazing conversation.

from the scrumptious steaming hot teriyaki chicken + rice to the mouth watering grape-y flavoured concoction filled with strawberry/kiwi/grapefruit bits to the absolutely delightful melt-in-your-mouth cheesecake that reminded me so, of creme brulee. the japanese restaurant is called "sun andwith moon" or something, at wheelock place - lichen's superb recommendation!

it's been awhile since i dined in/with such lovely company, and a while it has been; 9 years to date - since we left primary school in 1998, 8+ if i'm counting properly.

if only all meals could be like this.

i laughed and laughed and laughed, nonstop - all night long my psychotic cackles rang in the air - perpetually in fear of spitting all my food out in the face of the person sitting across me/someone/everyone. it came to a point whereby i had to time my chewing so that it would not coincide with lynette speaking, because knowing her, she ALWAYS has something damn funny to say. even the topic of mr hwang/huang came up, imagine that! (okay fine, fine! that was me)

lynette aka miss globetrotter/jet setter/SIA stewardess very kindly bought me a gift set (without me asking) from victoria's secret *squeal* on her recent flight to japan - she touchdowned on home territory this morning - or was it korea? i can't recall.

the set contains 1) shower gel 2) body splash 3) body lotion in the cutest little plastic pouch with purple leather trim that reads: Victoria's Secret THE SEXIEST ON EARTH

my delayed reaction: "ohmygosh! it has my name on it!!" *gasp* "the pouch has my name!! "it's MY secret!!"

after dinner had wrapped up, we grabbed a cab from yck mrt (another pleasant change; people who live in the same area as i do. how rare.) and yakked all the way back. the topic up for discussion was ex and current boyfriends. the gift of gab that girls have naturally been bestowed with has ceased to leave me in wonderment any longer. i maintain that girls will always have an endless list of things to talk about: shopping, makeup, relationships, travel, work, family etc. it's true it is. i'm living proof.

bottomline: boys suck!
