i wanna have your babies!

this i've found to be true; spontaneity comes with a price, but if that price entails a wonderful night spent in the company of and catching up with two amazing girlfriends - i'm more than willing to pay.

none of it was planned, not a single detail. it was totally and completely spur of the moment; from reaching the party around 1am right after it had climaxed and plateaued (we came just as people were leaving), down to playing scavenger hunt with food and drinks.

i was literally like a madman, scrounging around the dining table littered with what seemed like a million empty plastic cups (that had already been drunk in, inclusive of cigarette ash/butts and other unidentifiable substances) and multiple liquor bottles. i came up empty-handed save for 2 packs of crisps, which even then had already been eaten - we were left with the tiny broken bits at the base of the pack.

like a beacon of hope shining from above, i spotted a box of biscuits sitting innocently on a cabinet. we grabbed it and immediately started devouring its insides... (we didn't get very far) only to find that it belonged to someone else, other than the owner of the house. we know this because some dude came running back into the house searching for biscuits that his friend had left behind. my thoughts: oh shit! we ate her biscuits!

having no idea what they looked like, he didn't notice the biscuits we were conveniently munching. however, the possibility became too obvious to ignore, so we confessed. he said he could see how we could've easily mistaken it as part of the party stash, but he had no choice but to take our (then) only source of food away, assuring us his friend would understand :(

rummaging in the kitchen and refrigerator for anything edible/drinkable proved to be more successful - at last, victory! i returned to the table with a carton of unopened fruit juice and a loaf of sliced bread. i kept insisting to stacie that the bread would absorb the alcohol. which reminds me, there was NONE.. until a (v's brother) drunkenly revealed his parents' secret stash in some inconspicuous wooden cabinet standing in the corner. he took out the absolut and poured us some, which sorta explains my obsession with the whole bread thing - dude, i might've been was high.

other discoveries: another carton of fruit juice. 3 cans of coke. vanilla ice cream (too bad we didn't get to go there) at some point that night, we went back to the cabinet and dug out the absolut. do not fret, we replaced it soon after we had mixed our drinks good and proper.

i was actually kinda glad that the party had died down by the time we got there. at v's previous shindig, i had felt SO out of place. the people were snobbish and not friendly AT ALL. (it has NOTHING to do with the host, he's super *smile*) this time, i hardly felt it. perhaps i was too numbed out by the weariness from work or simply not bothered enough to care that we were being antisocial, said a. we were happy in our own little corner; eating and drinking our contraband.

you see, when we stepped foot into the apartment, my friend v aka the host was dead drunk and/or inebriated beyond... anything (like, introducing us to the other partygoers). not wanting to ruin his fun, we quietly sidestepped the alcohol-soaked carpets/rugs, put our bags down and commenced our scavenger hunt.

one of the funniest moments: i aimed i shot i scored! the chip landed right smack in the middle of stacie's cleavage. hahaha. much to her outrage. she in return, stuffed bread down the front of my clothes at the next best opportunity. i had crumbs - seriously, crumbs! - in my singlet and my bra. she just smirked, pleased with her handiwork - not that i wasn't with mine *grin*

and v, totally impressed with his culinary prowess. imagine being half-sober and simultaneously whipping up a scrumptious gourmet sandwich which ingredients included 4 kinds of cheese, tomatoes, basil leaves (i think), chicken, mushrooms, fried egg.. etc. it was heaven. being the only REAL food we had consumed upon reaching the party, we gobbled it down greedily. yum yum yummy. i've already put in a request for v to make it for me again :)

anyway, the point i think i'm trying to make is: it doesn't matter where you are as much as who you're with. even though i didn't know a single soul at the party (the host notwithstanding, given that he was out cold most of the time), being with stacie and shihan made all the difference. especially stacie and her **il*tor. ha ha.

i had a blast!

note: mummy and i both agree that adam levine is simply divine. like sex on a platter. he's downright sexy; not handsome, just frickin sexy.
