wow, i'm pooped!

after driving lessons in the afternoon and the CRAZY aigner fashion show at fullerton which took up the better part of the day AND night, we stuffed our faces (and mouths) sore at macs followed up by a slow trudge to TCC/the coffee club [i seem to have lost at least 50% of my memory cells (if any to begin with) after last night's shenanigans] i honestly can't remember which one! for a drink or two (no caffeine for me) and back home again.

once i was on familiar territory, i proved to myself yet again the similarities between a coma patient and myself by plopping right into bed after a shower and falling into a deep deep deep dreamless slumber.

i bet i could've given sleeping beauty a run for her money!

recently, things have been pre-tty calm on my side of the island though i'm desperately seeking the chance to paint the town PINK with the right kinda people at the right kinda place!

with a quick traipse to raffles marina for a lovely day of fun in the sun, a spot of R&R, girl's night out @ zouk and/or club of choice + sleepover lined up next wed followed by jaime's 21st birthday hot on its heels, a 3-day celebration (2 days of sentosa-ing; @ sunset bay beach bar, ktv at sijori resort and a day of beach activities)

i can't wait for this weekend!

i've taken it upon myself to be the official-unofficial interior designer for g's room. i've decided that a trip to ikea/arab street/chinatown would be suffice to get what we need to revamp his room. since he already has an existing collection of frames with family photos, i thought some black&white photographs in larger frames would add just a touch of nostalgia and sentiment to the overall feel, hmm.. we gotta get curtains; something stronger, a vibrant shade to compliment his room's earthy neutral colour scheme.

a couple of suggestions from the friends:
1. a hammock in one corner
2. one OR two swings in the middle of the room, of course drilled securely into the ceiling

i've run out of ideas, i might go and get some decorating books to help me out. i'm so excited.

this shall be my pet project :) this, and embroidering the words SINGLE in HOT PINK on my mum's new jeans. heh heh.
