pink shoes turned purple.

sometimes my mother can be the most adorable thing ever :)

it days like these when i look to the sky, thank god and smile that secret smile to myself for no reason at all. eugene once commented that my secretive i-know-something-you-don't-know smile was nicer than my normal one. weird boy.

first, she bought me a creative Mp3 player ( i suspect she's suffering from post purchase dissonance). hah! TAKE THAT BUYER BEHAVIOUR! she INSISTED on getting me one in pink (ever since she found out that it's my favourite colour) OR NOT AT ALL. next, she replaced the hp mouse i dropped on the floor twice while being caught up in chasing&trapping mosquitoes in the palm of my hands with a pink microsoft one. then, she called me up in school today [read: sewing my life away], all excited about a pair of hot pink sneakers+confirm my size.

last i heard, the shoes became purple. *laughs* she was SO upset because the colour changed under different lightings and was no longer hot pink. i explained, people carry the common misconception that my favourite colour is purple because i always seem to be wearing it, at least more than pink- i barely have anything pink. strange huh? even my friends give me purple things, which i use- aiding the vicious cycle.

oh and they were right. the shoes ARE gorgeous *grin* think purple suede with strips of snakeskin where the laces are. groovy baby. mummy was worried i wouldn't like it anymore.

all together now: awww.

today was look-like-a-taitai day :)
for me at least.

marie & pauline commented that i looked like one today [miss jobinatansirong is still at the top of the taitaiwannabe list] *grin* i suppose it had something to do with my nina-fied/inspired pinned up luohan fringe- i decided on flaunting my pimple loud&proud instead of concealing it- frilly turqoise top (V1 gave me) and vintage fake chanel clipons from chinatown that completed the look.

i can't wait for monday to be over.
sleep, zouk, sentosa, movies, shopping, library-ing coming up.
