why can't i have everything?

today's look was parisian chick meets SIA stewardess (it's the scarf tied around the neck, really):

heather grey (my love for heather grey is common knowledge.. well it should be by now) tee that reads "why can't i have everything?", black skinny jeans, electric blue silk scarf with duck/bird-prints, dark brown waisted leather belt with gold buckle, cobalt blue low heeled peeptoes with rosette - all topshop, save for the belt and shoes (vintage, mum's).

without fail, every single time i've worn this tee, some smart aleck will make a comment that goes either "because you can't." or "what do you want?"

if/when the mood strikes, and i actually bother to respond, it's either with a withering look or some equally smart-alecky answer like "i want it all."

funny thing is, i'm beginning to think that i really do want it all.

note: only jacky will know exactly what i'm referencing; we just spent the past couple of hours having a heated debate over it at starbucks - life, love and whatever the hell it is we want.

p/s: starbucks - too much ice, too little drink. seriously.
