ramblings of a sick girl:

i should be in bed (asleep), but i just can't tear my eyes (and self) away from "it started with a kiss" [the taiwanese version]. god knows how i got myself hooked onto this drama serial. as it unfolded the storyline and plot gave me serious deja vu; i kept wondering where/if i had seen it before, but that's impossible! how could i have done so yet not recognise a single member of the cast? (esp joe cheng, who carries off the curlychineseboy look oh-so-well. plus i noticed all the male leads seem inclined to do the grab-and-kiss in these serials *fans self*) then it hit me, like a brick over the head. i watched the original japanese version! - immediately lishan came to mind. i vaguely remember her telling me she was nuts over it too, and that either a) she read the manga comics or b) she had the dvd. now which is it.. *scratches head*

man oh man, youtube is taking over my life. the past 2 days i've practically spent all day in bed, resting/recuperating/loading up on 5 different kinds of meds/fanatically watching the show on my laptop, which has become increasingly irritating - simply turning itself off as and when it pleases - a sign of old age, and it telling me to buy a newer model. sigh.

2 days away from work hasn't been that bad after all, i have to admit i needed the rest, not having to make small talk with customers (or anyone for that matter), subsequently losing my voice completely and the 8.5 hours off my feet. i have some confessions to make but this is neither the right avenue nor the right time.

sunday shall come, sooner than i know.
