it's 5am in the morning, i've just been presented with one of the most beautiful sights and sounds. i can't help but be amazed; even now, (back in the safety of my room) i remain in complete awe of the natural wonders this earth can bring, and has brought.
so touched was i by the sight that lay before me, i felt tears inadvertently spring to my eyes - which i've never had happen before, even with my overemotional self taken into consideration.
from where i was perched up above, the world was my oyster; for us three to conquer. i find myself dreaming of a place; where sky meets water and clouds float about without a care in the world, the stars glitter gorgeously in the sky. shooting stars? oh but a dime a dozen.
the horizon is prettily flushed with the slightest hint of colour, an indication that it is soon to be slowly stained pink - much like a watercolour-tainted paintbrush dipped in water - at the first sign of daybreak/dawn.
the world - even if just for a second - was still. even the minutest sounds could be heard from where we were; busy contemplating the appropriate sound for every possible animal (like in primary school) birds chirp, roosters crow, hens cluck, monkeys chatter, dogs bark, cats purr, crickets creak?
this, i have to say; the view from the top, was breathtaking.
now i find myself struggling/grappling to jot/put everything down into words, before i forget
... because this, i'd like to remember.
