one fine night, i typed out the words via msn
"i want to cry so badly, but i can't seem to cry..." followed by "can you send me a sad song?"
as a form of answer, shanee sent over jeff buckley's 'hallelujah'.
at first, i didn't feel for it - at all - but it stealthily crept up and grew on me. and like all good songs hold the mysterious power to do, it fills you with a silence; the kind that blocks out all else, until you hear nothing but the singer's voice, and the sound of your beating heart.
now, whenever i hear the words 'jeff buckley' or listen to the song, i think of you. i don't know why i rambled on about this, or its relevance whatsoever, but just know, i'm thinking of you.
p/s: if you find yourself sneezing more frequently of late, yup, that's my handiwork! haha.
