the weekend went by at a speed unknown to someone like myself, who thrives in prolonging her languidly lazy, lazily languid (either or) weekends to within an inch of its life.
the term "in a flash of light" would suffice nicely, here.
friday:
started fielding calls at the office around mid-day from the kind people of ann siang:
jobster @ asylum/vicanda @ venue
to inform me of a certain exhibition @ front row, coincidentally where a fellow design schooler resides. not forgetting the other @ style nordic.
i told you people,
design school has taken over ann siang.
around 5 or 6 ish, i received an sms asking if i would like to go. i said yes.
it was a spur of the moment thing, i was so not dressed for the occasion; white crocodile singlet, gold (floral) plate necklace & faded camel leather belt with exotic gold buckle and detailing - both mum's, spring green long tiered skirt, camel arabian slipons with curl at toes/gold thongs, chocolate velvet hippy-ish bag with fringe.
after the exhibition;
spizza
zouk, groove armada (too crowded, we left)
holland v, wala (put on hold)
nydc, mudpies first :)
wala closed
cabbed to john's house, taitee
on&off sleep, mcd's hotcakes!
left at 7am.
by the time i was awoken from my deep slumber, half of saturday had gone by.
saturday:
jobi's 22nd birthday celebration

tcc - mudpie, tiramisu, apple crumble, orange sorbet-ish thing
sunday:
tried on cutecreamwinterjacket mum wanted to buy @ toa payoh
caught in the rain; happy - waterproof melissa's, no non-waterproof mascara, offered umbrella
